GameScape was founded in 2020 to serve as a platform for gamers to write and share their thoughts on different games spanning across decades and multiple console generations. We strive to provide a place where writers can express their personality while writing about games that intrigue them and starting open discussions about our favorite (or not so favorite) titles.

Video games have been a part of my life as early on as I can remember. We had an Atari 2600, an NES, and many more classic systems in our house that I familiarized myself with at a very early age. Eventually my parents got me a PS2 and the rest is history. I was hooked and would never come back. I played and enjoyed anything I could get my hands on, from platformers, to shooters, to sports titles, to rhythm games. To this day, that remains the same. Over the years, there has been one thing that I have developed a passion for almost more than games themselves. I love the community that video games have spawned. Sharing with others the impact games have had on our lives and sharing those thoughts and memories with each other creates a special type of bond unlike any other. This passion is what inspired me to create GameScape. I wanted to create a platform for those who are passionate about games and community to give their thoughts on games across a wide variety of genres and generations.

What sets GameScape apart?
When creating the foundation of GameScape, there was one thing in particular I wanted to make sure we provided for our readers, a personal and honest review. Over the years game reviews have trended in a way that is very "matter of fact" and "straightforward". GameScape severs as a platform to allow our writers to let their personality shine and interact with our readers. We aim to create and support the gaming community through open conversation and discussion through our reviews.
